Lorraine Sanabria is a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide at Beantown Physio’s Brookline office, where she’s gaining hands-on experience as she prepares to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in the near future. Originally from the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Lorraine moved to Northampton, Massachusetts at 18 to attend Smith College. There, she majored in Psychology with a minor in Exercise & Sport Science, combining her academic passion with her love for athletics. As a thrower for the varsity track and field team at Smith College, she embraced the discipline and teamwork that sports demand.
Lorraine’s enthusiasm for physical therapy is deeply connected to her sports background, where she developed a firsthand appreciation for the importance of recovery and rehabilitation. She’s excited to bring that knowledge to her patients, guiding them through the healing process with care and compassion.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Lorraine has a twin brother who is also a thrower at Northeastern University, and she recently made the exciting move to Boston in May. Since then, she’s been on a mission to explore the city's culinary scene, trying out new food spots every chance she gets!
