Paul Ghostlaw is a 1990 graduate from Ithaca College. Since this time he has focused his entire career in orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy.
In 2001, Paul founded Beantown Physio, Inc. in Brookline. In 2006 the West Roxbury location was opened.
Growing up an hour from both Montreal and Ottawa in a small, rural United States-Canadian border town called Fort Covington, NY, Paul’s childhood passions were athletics, no matter the playing surface. This love of sports ultimately guided him in studying Physical Therapy which combines many sciences including psychology, physiology, mechanics and physics.
Within Physical Therapy, and 32 years of experience and practice, Paul has been able to assist folks from all walks of life, especially those who are anxious and excited in returning back to their sport, activity and / or work.
Paul's clinical interests are the rehabilitation and management of post-surgical and non-surgical knee, shoulder, spine, ankle and hip dysfunction. Having endured multiple open and arthroscopic knee operations himself, he understands what patients are coping with as they attempt to rehabilitate back to full function.
In addition to his practice, Paul enjoys giving back to the surrounding communities and his profession by means of charities and educational presentations, both here in the United States and abroad.
Paul resides in Walpole with his wife Beth and their active two boys, Bruce and Cayden. Tikka, the 13-year-old Vizsla, is the canine anchor of the homestead. As for hobbies, Paul is a travel enthusiast, an avid sports fan, and has interests in software application development.
